Qualify as a BEMS engineer with an internationally recognised NVQ

Apprenticeships give way to long and successful careers – in fact, many of our own directors and senior managers kickstarted their careers as apprentices.

You’ll complete your training in three to four years and earn an NVQ Level 4 in Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) Controls from Group Horizon Ltd, a national training provider for BEMS apprenticeships. While learning is mostly hands on, you’ll undertake courses from some of the biggest names in the industry, including Schneider Electric, Honeywell and the BCIA (the Building Control Industry Association).

What you’ll need

An interest in BEMS engineering
An eagerness to learn and progress
Ability to travel between sites (preferably you’ll hold a UK drivers licence)
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
GCSE’s (grade C or above) in Maths, English and Science
